Life career of sexual workers

In my diploma thesis I focus on women who work in the sex business and their careers. The aim of the work is to present relevant theories and current knowledge about the life careers of sex workers, expanded by my own research. The work is dividing sex business according to the place of provisioning of services as well as according to the trends of this profession in our country and abroad. It describes present social and health risks in the historical perspective, career in the sex business, motivation to do such a job, and also mentioning an organization that works with women from the sex business. The work concerns only women who provide sexual services for a fee and are over 18 years of age. In my work I focus on biographies of women who provide paid sexual services from their point of view, and how they view their lives. I also adapted a selected sample of respondents to this work and addressed both existing clients of ROZKOŠ bez RIZIKA, z. s., including those who no longer work in the sex business. I used the method of structured interviews, through which it was possible to get a basic picture of the interviewee's family, personal and work situation. Social aspects of work in the sex business in the territory of South Bohemia

This thesis is dealing with social aspects of work in the sex industry in South Bohemia. Mostly is about life of persons who provide sexual services for money. One part focuses on the reason why they are in the industry, social context, and also monitoring of individuals who are providing sexual services for money. The identified topics are then reflected. In the research part is possible to find interviews with women who provide paid sexual services in South Bohemia. The open questions I asked to them were pointed to the aspects that crystallized in the theoretical part. The women either refuted or confirmed them. Parts of the answers are traceable in the text.

Life's career of female sex workers - clients of organisation Bliss without Risk

This diploma thesis, called "Life's Career of Female Sex Workers - Clients of Organisation Bliss without Risk", concentrates on the topic of prostitution and on the particular period of Bliss without Risk clients' life. The theoretic part includes an explanation of terms of the prostitution scene as well as it mentions and considers new words of this branch such as a sex work or a sex worker. The diploma work tackles the problem of what is very specific for the difficulties of the prostitution branch (heath, social, law or criminal difficulties). It mostly concentrates on the problematic of on sex workers committed violence. The coping strategies being used by women in sex business are also described. The practical part includes the phone research based on information collected from the Bliss without Risk's ex-clients. The main goal of the research was to find out how the ex-clients are keeping and what was the reason they stopped using it's services (was it their dissatisfaction over provided services or did they just left the sex business at all etc.). It gives the basic view at the way of the ex-clients' living as well as at their personal, family and work situation. PROSTITUTION IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC AND NORWAY A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS

My thesis deals with the topic of prostitution. As a research strategy for my master thesis I have chosen qualitative research. For developing my paper I was using various research methods such as participant observation, unstructured interviews, case study and qualitative comparative analysis. My paper is based on empirical studies which I have obtained during my internship in the organization Albertine Prosjektet in Stavanger likewise on cooperation with the Czech NGO Rozkoš bez rizika in České Budějovice. My results appeared from unstructured interviews with social workers of both organizations as well as with women in prostitution, and subsequent interconnection with theoretical knowledge. My aim was to elaborate a comparative study of prostitution in the Czech Republic and Norway with predominant focus on the České Budějovice area and Stavanger area in order to present the current situation in prostitution markets. Feminist points of view play also an important role because prostitution can be explained as a gender-based phenomenon. This perspective is one of the key points of my paper.
